National Minimum Wage 2024 South Africa. The minister of employment and labour published government gazette 50073 on 2 february 2024, amending schedules 1 and 2 of the national minimum. The new nmw will come into effect from 1 march 2024.

As of march 1, 2024, the new national minimum wage (nmw) in south africa is r27,58 per hour. The national minimum wage (nmw) in south africa will increase from r25,42 per hour to r27,58 per hour effective from 1 march 2024.
